OrbitPay (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use OrbitPay services and the OrbitPay GDK Companion application.
Information We Process
When you connect your Microsoft account or use Microsoft Store-related functionality, OrbitPay may process:
- Your OrbitPay account identifier.
- Identifiers associated with the connection between your OrbitPay account and Microsoft Store services.
- Microsoft Store entitlement and product ownership information required to determine whether your account owns or is entitled to use a particular product.
- Technical information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and maintain the service.
OrbitPay does not request or store your Microsoft account password.
Microsoft Store Integration
OrbitPay GDK Companion uses Microsoft Store and Microsoft Gaming/GDK services to perform Store-related operations, including verifying product entitlements.
Information exchanged with Microsoft is processed as necessary to provide these features and is also subject to Microsoft's applicable privacy policies and terms.
How We Use Information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and operate OrbitPay services.
- Link supported Microsoft Store functionality with an OrbitPay account.
- Verify Microsoft Store product ownership and entitlements.
- Prevent abuse and protect the security of the service.
- Diagnose technical problems and maintain the service.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers, including Microsoft, when necessary to provide the functionality described above, comply with applicable law, protect the service, or prevent fraud and abuse.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
Where applicable, users may request deletion of information associated with their OrbitPay account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
OrbitPay is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
